2PM March to Honor the Warrior, and End the War
2900 people, the approximate number of U.S. deaths in Iraq, will march from De La Guerra Plaza to Stearn’s Wharf to demand an end to the War
3:30 PM Demonstration of the Cost of War
at Arlington West
-2900 people will sit next to the crosses that correspond to the deaths of US Soldiers who have died in Iraq and there will be one second of silence for each (almost 50 Minutes)
–Carlos and Melida Arredondo, whose son Alex was KIA in Iraq and are members of Gold Star Families Speak Out and Gold Star Families for Peace will set up Camp Alex on the beach
-Other Veterans, Gold Star Families and Military Families will be on hand to discuss the costs of this war
