I’ve decided to drop my advocacy for the impeachment of Cheney or Bush and focus on something more realistic: making Senator Hillary Clinton our next emperor. After all, when the candidate is someone good, you should want them to have as much power as possible. Bear with me a minute, and I think you may agree.

John Edwards' Money and His Health Plan

John Edwards has reported $29.5 million in personal assets to the FEC, of which his aides have told the Wall Street Journal $16.1 million is invested in Fortress Investment Group, a hedge fund that invests in Humana, the health insurance company that comes in for sharp criticism in Michael Moore’s blockbuster movie “Sicko.”

The impeachment movement is gaining traction, and now – over the next two weeks – is the time to push it all the way to success. Over the weekend, supporters of impeachment made “Impeach Cheney” the number 1 video on Youtube. On Friday, for the first time, a polling company asked Americans if they want Cheney impeached. The corporate media in the United States will not allow a real peace candidate any time or substantive or respectful coverage. It will slander and mock and, above all, ignore. I think you could spot a peace candidate in a crowd of warmongers pretty easily if you asked each candidate these questions.

Do you oppose wars of aggression?

Do you oppose an aggressive US war on Iran?

Did you oppose the 2003 US war on Iraq?

Did you oppose the 2001 US war on Afghanistan?

Did you oppose the 1999 US war on Yugoslavia?

Did you oppose the 2006 Israeli war on Lebanon?
