That’s the message to progressives from this progressive website. The ignorance is staggering. It is where criticism is not permitted that people resort to violence, and the criticism from the left is criticism of bad and corrupted policies, not — like that from the right — accusations of being foreign, evil, and demonic. We should mock and debunk and defund the hate speech. Obama should protect himself. We should get the guns off our streets. But one thing that won’t help is yet more fearful self-censorship from the sane elements in society. When they clam up, guess who’s left free reign?
